Children at the age of five are ready to conquer the world around them through exploration and Hands-on experiences.
LITTLE AMBASSADORS’ ACADEMY OFFERS A FULL DAY, 5 DAYS A WEEK KINDERGARTEN CLASSROOM FOR THE 2024-2025 ACADEMIC SCHOOL YEAR AT OUR OVERLEE CAMPUS. WE ARE EXCITED TO CELEBRATE OUR FIFTH YEAR OF KINDERGARTEN AT LAA THIS FALL.
EXPERIENCE Our Kindergarten teachers provide an encouraging and creative classroom environment in which students develop intellectual curiosity and outstanding moral character. The smaller classroom setting allows our teachers to celebrate the individuality of each child and work with them to reach their full potential through a combination of one-on-one sessions and group work.
We believe in a supportive learning environment where children can become active and engaged learners. Little Ambassadors’ Academy is dedicated to building a solid foundation for lifelong learning through a well-balanced Kindergarten program that consists of a semester-long Project Based Learning activity, group and independent work, and Spanish Enrichment. Our hands-on approach with science creates opportunities for critical thinking, observation skills, and the ability to form conclusions. Exploring with the world around them is important for our Kindergarten students. At LAA we offer off-site field trips on bus and local excursions on foot, full hour outdoor recess time, and Gross motor enrichment activities. Our curriculum creates a diverse learning experience for our students and contributes to their overall development which fosters their growth into bright, responsible, and caring citizens.
REGISTRATION AND TUITION Families will commit for the academic school year by submitting a $750 non-refundable registration fee/deposit toward first month’s tuition. Monthly tuition for the academic school year (10 months) is $1875 per month. Kindergarten families also receive priority registration for LAA School-Age Summer Camp.
CURRICULUM LAA’s Kindergarten curriculum aligns with Virginia’s Standards of Learning for Kindergarten and First grade.

7:30-8:00: Before Care, Arrivals, Breakfast
8:00-9:00: Independent Play, Arrivals
9:00-9:30: Morning Meeting & Networking
9:30-11:00: Group Lesson & Individual Work Time
11:00-11:30: Social Problem Solving
11:30-12:00: Lunch
12:00-1:00: Outdoor Recess
1:00-2:00: Small Group Instruction
2:00-2:30: Specialty
2:30-3:00: Read Aloud & Snack
3:00-3:45: Group Lesson & Individual Work Time
3:45-4:00: Daily Review & Pack Up
4:00-6:00: Dismissal/ After Care
Instruction includes Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Social Emotional Learning.
Daily specialties include a rotation of Spanish, Art, Music, and Gross Motor instruction.
